12-4-81 (Week 12, Day 4, Year 81)

PSALM 62 TRUST IN GOD THE STRONGHOLD “a song of trust, recording the feelings of an individual beset by enemies.  Various synonyms for salvation and for God as a fortress predominate.”

He’s solid rock under my feet.  God is a good employer.

“God is our place of safety.”…..God, I have heard You say two things.  One is that you, God, are strong.  The other is that You, LORD, are loving.”

Prestige in earthly terms does not matter.  All humans are but a “feather.” They are “lighter than breath.”  God is looking for us to trust God and to live according to God’s will and not strive after riches or prestige.
