PSALM 112 “C” 10 verses BLESSINGS ON THOSE WHO TREASURE GOD’S ACTS AND GIVE TO THE POOR

BLESSINGS OF THE RIGHTEOUS “Happy are those who fear the LORD, who greatly delight in his Commandments.”  The righteous give to the poor.

This is a contrast between the righteous and the wicked.  It continues the movement of the theme of the Psalms.

THE ROAD-JESUS IS THE WAY TO THE FATHER.  Jesus is the gateway to God and Heaven.

JOHN 14: 15-24 KNOWING, LOVING, ABIDING. The Spirit is a Helper, an Advocate.  The translation of this word is from Paraclete

THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH-THE FATHER WILL SEND THE HOLY SPIRIT-The Holy Spirit is a friend.  The Holy Spirit enables the Biblical writers to recall Jesus’ words.

JOHN 14: 25-31 COMINGS AND GOINGS.  The Disciples are to obey the words and commands of Jesus to show that Jesus is from the Father in Heaven.

DEUTERONOMY 9:4 “ When the LORD your God thrusts them out before you, do not say to yourself, ‘it is because of my righteousness that the LORD has brought me to occupy this land; it is rather because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is dispossessing them before you.”WHY THE LORD GAVE CANAAN TO ISRAEL-“The LORD is going to drive out those nations to make room for you because they are very evil.” (Deut. 9:4)

EPHESIANS 3: 14-21 PRAYER FOR THE CHURCH TO LOVE UP TO ITS DESTINY

PAUL PRAYS FOR GOD’S PEOPLE.”  God is able to do far more than we could ever ask for or imagine.”

Paul prays first that the believers will be strengthened with the Spirit’s power.  Paul prays second for Christ’s love to dwell with each one.  Finally. he prays that this power comprehends the extent of God’s love in Christ.

EPHESIANS 3:20-21 is a doxology giving glory to God.
