37-6-258 (Week 37, Day 6, Year 258)
PSALM 137 How we feel about our enemies
This psalm was written as the Hebrew people found themselves deported to Babylon. It is a classic way of thinking of your enemies. We want God to take care of our enemies, but place ourselves within God’s grace. Sometimes we must face our own sin. This is a vivid prayer as a lament asking God to take revenge upon the Babylonian nation and its leadership.
